Annual charity event
Ticksgiving is a charity fundraiser started in 1997 and held every December in The Roaring Donkey. The fabulous Olga is the woman responsible and she’s raised over €100,000 to date, donating to different causes over the years. It’s a night of live music and mighty craic with customers donating Christmas presents to be distributed throughout the town to children in need. Money is raised through a raffle and donations.
